Mini Sports Complex Foundation Laid in Ahmedabad’s Gota Area, A Boost to India’s Emerging Sports Culture

The Modi government is working steadily toward developing a new sporting culture in the country by providing youth with global-standard sports facilities and broader opportunities. Taking another step in this direction, the foundation stone of a Mini Sports Complex was laid today in the Gota area of Ahmedabad.

The project, to be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹43 crore, aims to offer world-class sports infrastructure for young athletes. Once completed, the complex will provide a dedicated space for local youth to hone their skills under expert guidance.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who participated in the ceremony, said that such initiatives will empower India’s youth to perform confidently at international competitions. He added that the upcoming facility will play a crucial role in producing talented athletes capable of bringing glory to the nation.

Officials stated that the Mini Sports Complex will include modern training amenities, fostering a competitive environment and encouraging increased participation in sports across the region.
