New Delhi: Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh on Wednesday held bilateral talks with Greece’s Minister of National Defence, Mr Nikolaos-Georgios Dendias, in New Delhi, marking a significant step forward in defence and strategic ties between the two nations.
During the meeting, both sides signed a Joint Declaration of Intent aimed at strengthening defence industrial cooperation. The declaration is expected to serve as the foundation for developing a structured five-year roadmap, focusing on enhanced collaboration in defence manufacturing, technology exchange, and industrial partnerships.
In addition, the two Ministers exchanged the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2026, outlining the framework for future military engagements between the Armed Forces of India and Greece. The plan is designed to deepen operational coordination, joint exercises, training exchanges, and strategic dialogue.
Reaffirming the growing momentum in bilateral ties, both leaders reiterated that the India-Greece Strategic Partnership is anchored in shared values of peace, stability, freedom, and mutual respect.
