Senior postal officials inaugurating the Cuttack City Postal Division stall at Bali Yatra 2025
Cuttack, November 6, 2025 : – With the aim of making the Postal Department’s services accessible to a wider audience, the Cuttack City Postal Division, under the guidance and compassion of the Honorable Chief Postmaster General, Odisha Circle, inaugurated a departmental stall at the historic Cuttack Bali Yatra-2025.
The stall was inaugurated by Mr. Sarveshwar Mishra, a senior retired police officer from Cuttack City Division and former Sub-Divisional Manager (PLI) of Odisha Circle, Bhubaneswar. Several officers and employees of the department, including Senior Superintendent Mr. Aparajit Patnaik, Senior Police Officer of Cuttack South Division Mr. Parameshwar Nayak, Senior Postmaster of Cuttack GPO Mr. Ashit Kumar Nayak, and Senior Manager of IPPB Cuttack Branch Mr. Malay Kumar Mahapatra, were present on the occasion.
A music video showcasing the various schemes and services of the department, composed by Mr. Ashok Kumar Behera, DO (PLI), Cuttack City Division, was also released during the event. The creation was greatly appreciated by the audience present.
The objective of this initiative is to make citizens aware of the latest services of the Postal Department – such as India Post Payments Bank, Postal Life Insurance, Speed Post and Philately – and to connect more and more people with them.
