Super 60 PVTG Seminar in Ranchi: Emphasis on Service Delivery and Livelihood Strengthening

NITI Aayog's Super 60 PVTG Regional Seminar, held in Ranchi in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the Government of Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jharkhand | NITI Aayog, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the Government of Jharkhand, organized a regional seminar under the ADP/ABP’s Super 60 PVTG initiative. The states of Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh participated in the event.

Chief Guest, Ms. Ranjana Chopra, Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, stated that schemes like PM-Janman Nidhi and DAJGUA are playing a vital role in providing essential services to PVTG communities. She emphasized the need to ensure saturation of services and access to education for the last mile.

Mr. Rohit Kumar, Assistant Managing Director, ADP/ABP, stated in the inaugural session that the “Super 60 Approach” is aligned with ADP/ABP’s core mandate—convergence and community-centered development. He reiterated the shared goal of “leaving no one behind.”

A special highlight of the program was a dialogue with Padma Award winners, where speakers shared inspiring stories of community leadership, trust, and grassroots transformation.

In joint sessions, District Magistrates and Deputy Commissioners presented successful models from various states, including “Didi Ka Dukaan” in Dumka, North Tripura’s digital inclusion initiative, Dhenkanal’s agriculture cluster, and innovations from Shivpuri, Gumla, Pakur, Dindori, Korba, and Guna.

The symposium concluded with a commitment to accelerate service delivery, livelihood promotion, and sustainable development through convergence-based people-first strategies in the Super 60 PVTG blocks.
